MAILBOX TYPE:  Front loading horizontal Cutler mailboxes, in a natural anodized aluminum finish. Each set of mailboxes are equipped with a special order, out-going mail receptacle.

MAILBOX QUANTITY: Five buildings with a total of 245 boxes (235 useable).

CONSTRUCTION: The key to making this installation so functional was not leaving anything to chance. The fit under each staircase was so tight that a template was made for each building prior to ordering any materials or mailboxes.  The result was that the previously unused space under each staircase was put to good use.

MAILBOX TYPE:   Front loading horizontal American Device mailboxes in a gold anodized aluminum, equipped with a special order "vault type" heavy duty locking mechanism.

MAILBOX QUANTITY:  12 buildings with a total of approximately 1800 mailboxes.

CONSTRUCTION:  Every aspect of this installation was performed by Academy Staff.  This includes matching and then installing over 4000 feet of floor and wall tiles, and manufacturing, (yes manufacturing) and installing the custom light fixtures required.  Mail delivery was never interrupted during this 6 month installation period.

MAILBOX TYPE:   Front loading, horizontal American Device mailboxes with a gold polyester powder paint coating.

CONSTRUCTION:  Having absolutely no room in this lobby, the building opted to kill two birds with one stone.  The mailboxes were installed into a custom built, mahogany cabinet.  The cabinet was designed to fit over and cover up an old radiator in the buildings lobby.  Gold egg-carton-type material was used to let the heat out, while concealing the radiator.  At Academy, most cabinets are built in our shop, disassembled for shipping, and then reassembled at the job site.  This insures a perfect installation.
