INTERCOM TYPE: Aiphone 2422 state-of-the-art "self diagnosing" handset in the apartments. Applecore custom Stainless steel lobby panel.

CONSTRUCTION: To date Academy has completed all seven buildings in their 1200 unit co-op in Brooklyn Heights. A real challenge occurred when we discovered two riser conduits for each line of apartments. Originally Concord Village signed on with Academy to finance the new system over a 15 year period. However, after the satisfactory completion of the first two buildings and in order to save on the finance charges, Concord has paid for each completed building in full.

EQUIPMENT USED: AppleCore stainless steel intercom panel and a magnetic locking system.

CONSTRUCTION: Academy coordinated with another contractor who was installing a wrought iron gate for the exterior in order to keep the buildings courtyard secure. A custom sized stainless steel vandal and weather resistant panel was installed in the "side light" of the fence. Along with the intercom a magnetic locking system was installed also. Both were tied into the buildings.

CONSTRUCTION: A second intercom panel was installed on the exterior of the building in order to lock and secure the vestibule area.

EQUIPMENT USED: Interior and exterior custom made Applecore 3000 series panels in stainless steel and Aiphone 2422 handset style intercom units for 32 apartments.

CONSTRUCTION: Academy designed two special intercom panels for the outside of the building and the vestibule and installed them with a special time delay to allow tenants to control access from their apartments and give the building maximum vestibule security with minimal inconvenience to the visitors and residents.
